LIVE. A69 Motorway: A “Turboteuf” this Saturday, fear of overflows... Follow the latest news

A demonstration dubbed "Turboteuf" is expected to bring together thousands of protesters this Saturday. Along the A69 construction site, which was halted at the end of February and has been gradually resuming since mid-June, police forces have been widely deployed, with the prefecture estimating that "initial observations on the ground confirm the significant risk of public disorder."
Due to the lack of a declaration of the event by its organizers and due to the clashes that occurred during previous events, the Tarn prefecture issued a ban on the Turboteuf, where at least 2,000 participants are expected.
Although the project is well advanced, opponents intend to prevent the completion of this infrastructure, the construction of which began in 2023 and is due to be completed in the second half of 2026.
